Terms & Conditions

In this document, Shubh Laxmi Jewellers is referred to as Shubh Laxmi Jewellers.

1) Sales

A. General Terms for Cash and Credit Bills

• This document assumes that the customer/client has read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions.
• Goods once sold are final.
• Jewellery with stones/beads may experience falling out; repair/replacement will be charged and is subject to availability.
• Different purities/grades are marked on the bill/product.
• Price includes metal cost (gross/net), labour, wastages, gemstones, synthetic items, applicable charges and taxes.
• Gold & Silver rates on bill are reference only and exclude additional charges.
• Cheque, draft, card payments are subject to realisation. Non-realisation permits recovery actions.
• Oxidation/tarnishing of metal is natural and does not qualify for refund or exchange.

B. Exchange & Buy Back Terms

• Keep the original bill for future transactions.
• Dents, breakage, discoloration, or usage issues do not qualify for free replacement or refund.
• Exchange is based on net gold/silver content after removing stones, dirt, etc., with applicable deductions.
• Loss of weight or damage during removal is the customer’s responsibility.
• Applicable purchase taxes/levies will be borne by the customer.
• Exchange/buyback terms may change; check with showroom before proceeding.
• Verify weight, size, design before accepting delivery. No claims entertained afterward.
• All disputes are subject to Mapusa jurisdiction.
• Semi-precious/synthetic stones/beads once sold are non-returnable. Precious stones may have 0–50% resale value depending on condition.
• For credit bills, settlement must be within 15 days. Otherwise, 16% annual interest applies.
• Old purchases without a cash memo will not be accepted.
• All payments will be made via A/C Payee Cheque only.

C. Diamond Ornaments Return Value

• In exchange, making charges are deducted.
• In purchase, making charges + 10% of current diamond value are deducted.
• Subject to Mapusa jurisdiction.
